This knife draws immediate attention with its unusually shaped handle, which is reminiscent of its namesake, the successful Walther P22 caliber .22 pistol. The rear end resembles a magazine shoe and gives the user a firm hold on the knife, which otherwise has a straightforward design. Longitudinal grooves on the sides provide support for the thumbs of both left-handers and right-handers. A knife with this name must of course have a Hi-Grip surface finish on its rubber-coated polymer scales. The titanium gray coated spearpoint blade made of high-grade 440C steel stays securely open with a linerlock. Like all current Walther folding knives, the P22 comes with a nylon sheath that can be worn on the belt horizontally or vertically.
