Glock is a gun manufacturer from Austria with headquarters in Deutsch-Wagram. Glock is primarily known for its pistols, which are manufactured in many different models, including the Glock 17, Glock 19 and Glock 21, but also manufactures, for example, knives. Due to their light weight, reliability and simplicity, Glock pistols are very popular with police and military around the world. The pistols are largely made of polymer and lack a traditional fuse, the fuse is instead integrated into the trigger. The pistols are available in several models from competition pistols to compact pistols for concealed carry and in seven different calibers from 9 × 19 mm to .45 ACP.

In 1983, Glock introduced the Glock 17 as its first pistol model. The Glock 17 is a reliable semi-automatic pistol with a caliber of 9 × 19 mm.
It is a very durable weapon that is distinguished mainly by the unique fuse, which is located in the trigger itself, and which is released only at the moment of the shot.
The weapon also lacks a cock, and therefore cannot be cocked separately, which is the case on other weapons of the same type.

In 1988, development was started on the new weapon that would become the Glock 19. The Glock 19 is a compact variant of a Glock 17. Since 1990, the weapon has been used by Air Force pilots, then adopted by the Swedish Armed Forces as the Pistol 88B.

The Glock 34 is a slightly longer pistol variant than the Glock 17. It is also a semi-automatic pistol and the Glock 34 is primarily designed for IPSC and other forms of competitive shooting.
